Proudly serving our community since 2012, we are queer led and within the top 5 Farmers Insurance Agencies in the state of Minnesota for personal lines policies (auto and home) and are within the top 10% of Farmers Agencies in the entire United States.
At the Natalie Lyon Agency, we make insurance simple! We are changing the typical insurance experience by wanting the insurance experience to be relational vs. transactional. Our goal is to provide a client experience that is inclusive, welcoming, and educational.

NATALIE LYON
Natalie grew up in Fargo, ND and attended college at the University of Minnesota. She has lived in Minneapolis the past 20 years so it was only natural for her to choose Minneapolis for her office, which is located in the Keewaydin neighborhood in South Minneapolis. She is a block off Lake Nokomis right by Nokomis Beach Coffee. Super Fun Fact: Her office was Prince’s music studio in the 70s! Her agency specializes in home, auto, and life insurance. Whether you are a first-time homebuyer, buying your first investment or landlord property, or if you have recently moved to the Minneapolis/Saint Paul area she can help!
When not working Natalie enjoys spending time with her wife Janae’ and their dogs Kota & Sebastian. They enjoy spending time outdoors golfing, running, camping, or being on the water.
Natalie has been in the insurance industry over 12 years and is a top Farmers Agency Owner. She is an award winning agency that has qualified for Farmers Insurance Toppers Club which is the top 10% of the company in the US. She is within the top 5 Farmers Agents in the state of MN for Auto & Home Insurance sales. She is licensed to help assist in 3 states: MN, ND, and WI.

After selling their company and rehabbing several homes in the south metro, Jim had the opportunity to pursue his 2nd career interest, insurance. Jim truly loves helping clients protect themselves, their assets, and their loved ones.
Born and raised in Minnesota Jim currently lives in Eagan with his wife Melanie, their two kids Lauren and Connor, and their golden retriever Macy. When not at work he can be found at his kids’ high school and club sports events or else up north at the lake enjoying boating, fishing, hunting, skiing and just being outdoors.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends.
DAVID SMITH

David brings over 14 years of management experience, leading teams and delivering exceptional service across multiple industries. His leadership journey began with 3 years at U-Haul, where he honed his skills in operational management and customer service. He then spent more than a decade at Wells Fargo, holding diverse and progressively senior management roles. David led teams in Customer Service, Business Services, Business High-Value Services (serving clients with over $1 million in assets), Treasury Management, and Auto Services.
In addition to leadership, David has a strong background in sales. He has successfully sold personal banking products (2 years), mortgages (1 year), and high-value business banking accounts (3 years), demonstrating his deep understanding of financial services and client needs.
David was born and raised in South Minneapolis. He enjoys spending time outdoors—especially fishing—traveling the country in an RV, and relaxing with his wife Justine and their dog Bailey. One of his favorite travel destinations is the Excellence Resort in the Dominican Republic, where he enjoys unwinding and recharging.
MICHAEL PELTIER
Agency Protege Producer
Michael has over 5 years of project management with companies such as Amazon and MNsure. He led the project with Briva Health and Hennepin County with helping residents gain back their medical assistance after the pandemic. Michael has 10 years of customer service and values on educating consumers, improving the language barrier with deaf and hard of hearing, and making sure that customers are protected with their insurance concerns.
Michael is fluent in American Sign Language and has a bachelors in Economics. He enjoys spending his free time by going on hiking trips such as climbing half dome in California, hiking a fourteener in Colorado, or canoeing in the boundary waters.
